Leola Helen Arnold
Leola Helen Arnold, age 93, of Woodstock, VA died Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Greenfield Assisted Living in Woodstock. She was born May 10, 1915 in Hodgesville, WV, a daughter of the late Cecil and Mabel Chapman Lance. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Junior L. Arnold who died April 8, 1980; one brother, Eugene Lance and one sister, Venita Lance Compton. Mrs. Arnold is survived by one son, Donald W. Tenney and wife Doreen of Front Royal, VA; one grandson, Brian Tenney and wife Wendy of Augusta, WV and five great-grandchildren, Will-Henry, Denver, Trinity, Shay and Selah Tenney, all of Augusta. Friends will be received from 6-8 PM, Friday, July 18, 2008 at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10 AM, Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Larry Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery at Philippi, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
