Samuel Andrew Kochenour
Samuel Andrew Kochenour, age 98, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Holbrook Nursing Home while under the care of Peoples Hospice. He was born November 10, 1911 in Buckhannon a son of the late Samuel Franklin and Carrie Lily Doll Kochenour. On October 12, 1936 he married Ruth Been who preceded him in death on June 29, 2002. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Raymond and Edward Kochenour and one sister, Edith Jessee. He is survived by one son, Samuel C. Kochenour and wife Joyce of Greenwood, SC; one granddaughter, Deanna “Dee” Schuelke and husband William of Marietta, GA; one great grandson, William Samuel Schuelke of Marietta, GA; one sister, Katherine Rheaume and husband Bob of Lurium, MI and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Kochenour was an owner and operator of the Buckhannon Machine Shop. Friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Monday, June 7, 2010 from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. S. L. Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery.
