Verla Marlene Zirkle
Verla Marlene Zirkle, age 73, of Louisville, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Green Meadows Health and Wellness Center in Louisville. She was born September 23, 1936 in Belington, WV a daughter of the late Herbert B. and Daisy Haddix Zirkle. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Wilbert Zirkle. Verla is survived by a brother, Mendel C. Zirkle and wife Wren of Buckhannon, WV; a sister, Sally Ann Isgro and husband Larry of Louisville; a sister-in-law, Anna Mae Zirkle of Buckhannon; an aunt, Dema Carr of Belington and many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. She was also blessed with a number of friends, her Exceptional Class at Canton Baptist Temple and wonderful caregivers at Green Meadows. Friends will be received at Poling-St.Clair Funeral Home in Buckhannon, Monday, October 5, 2009 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. The funeral service will then be at 2:00 PM with Pastor Ed McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, in Philippi, WV.
