Vivian Neal Harvey, age 94, of Buckhannon, WV, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024, at her daughter’s home surrounded by her family. She was born September 3, 1929, in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of the late Stanley Martin and Leona Rebecca Bennett Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin “Gene” Eugene Harvey and two brothers, Willard and Stanford Miller. She is survived by her children, Jacqueline Strawder and husband Paul of Buckhannon, Marvin Eugene Harvey, Jr., and wife Barbara of Buckhannon, Janet Hylton and husband Larry of Fairmont, WV and Kenneth Neil Harvey and wife Stella of Buckhannon; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sister, Joy Bennett of Buckhannon; several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Sammy.  Mrs. Harvey was retired from the United States Postal Service, was an active member of the Heaston United Methodist Church and loved working outside.  Friends will be received Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Greg Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
